Previously, she was Adora from the show She-Ra and the Princesses of Power. Adora was found as a baby and raised as an orphan of the Horde, an evil army led by Hordak. Not that she knew it was evil. She didn't find that out until she found a magical sword in the woods and also ran into Princess Glimmer and her friend Bow, both members of the Resistance. The sword allows Adora to turn into She-Ra, a powerful princess destined to protect their planet, Etheria, and maintain harmony. Adora defects from the Horde to the Resistance, leaving behind her best friend Catra. Though she makes several attempts to get Catra to join her in the Resistance and their attempts to rebuild the Princess Alliance, Catra refuses, instead rising up in the ranks of the Horde to become Hordak's second-in-command.
Now she's Corazon de la Cruz, 20. You can call her Cora. Cora's parents died when she little, so her aunt and uncle took her in. It meant growing up in a crowded but loving house full of cousin-siblings; they went to church together every Sunday and helped each other with their homework and got into harmless trouble together, too. Cora has always taken her responsibilities - to her family, to her community, to herself - very seriously, but she's also quick to find the joy in things; she is a master of the omgsquee! She hates disappointing people and especially hates feeling helpless. Ambitious (she's an education and government double major) but not very competitive, making friends in college has been easy for her. She tutors to help pay for her books and school supplies, to try not to be a burden on her family. It's how she met Alex, her girlfriend of two years, who Cora thinks is amazing and beautiful and the best thing that's ever happened to her. There was some slight friction with her family when Alex first came into the picture, but her family has been really great about reconciling their religion with who Cora is.
Cora is currently unaware.
